What the assessment covers

  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Creative writing

Creative writing is assessed for candidates who meet the qualifying standard in English and mathematics.

The official familiarisation guide explains the types of tasks, but the test content changes each year.

Meeting the qualifying standard does not guarantee a place at either school.

The FSCE guide says there are no authorised past or practice papers.
