Entry information

Arise Education offers full-time school-roll places and temporary alternative provision through referrals. Admissions depend on the child’s needs, the suitability of the provision and capacity. EHCP placements use local-authority SENDAR consultation; part-time or short-term alternative provision begins with a commissioner enquiry.

Entry stage: Specialist referral or commissioned alternative provision

The admissions process

  • EHCP route: local-authority SENDAR consultation, review of needs and capacity, visit where appropriate, and conditional offer pending panel confirmation
  • Temporary AP route: commissioner enquiry with learner information and risk assessments, capacity review and a pre-admission meeting with child, family and commissioner
  • Confirmed agreement followed by a supported transition and tailored induction
