Entry information
For September 2027 entry
Bosworth offers Year 7 entry from age 11 for a September start. Families apply online or using the school form, provide a school report and discuss the course with admissions. The published policy says all applicants take CAT4 alongside their academic records; the school describes its general admissions approach as non-selective.

- Spatial reasoning
Assessment provider: GL Assessment
The admissions process
- Arrange a visit or discussion with admissions and complete the online or downloadable application. The current form includes Year 7 as a September-start programme and a 2027–28 calendar.
- The Year 7 course requires at least six years of schooling, a school report and the child to be 11 before starting. Provide requested identity documents, academic records and information about additional needs. Discuss applicable English-language evidence with admissions.
- The school’s published policy says all applicants complete CAT4, considered with academic transcripts. The current bursary page also confirms CAT4 for ordinary applicants; scholarship or bursary scores are separate award conditions.
- CAT4 is GL Assessment’s test of verbal, non-verbal, quantitative and spatial reasoning. Confirm the school’s particular testing arrangements with admissions.
- The school checks course requirements, available places and whether it can meet the child’s needs. If offered a place, follow the offer conditions, acceptance-form, registration-fee and deposit instructions.
