Entry information

Culford’s age 11+ pathway is entry to its Prep School, which serves ages 7–13; it is not entry to the Senior School, which starts at age 13 / Year 9. Prep applicants take individual online entrance exams in a supportive setting. Culford gives no dated 2027 admissions timetable on its current application page; contact admissions about availability and assessment dates.

Entry stage: Culford Prep School (Years 7–8; age 11+). Senior School entry begins at 13+ / Year 9.

The admissions process

  • Contact admissions to check whether a place is available and arrange a visit.
  • Complete a registration form and pay the stated registration fee.
  • Arrange an age- and year-appropriate entrance assessment with admissions. Prep entrance exams are online and taken individually; the school says results are usually provided within a week.
  • Note that the Senior School entry point is 13+ / Year 9, while age 11+ entry is to the Prep School.
