Entry information
Cundall Manor admits pupils into Years 1–11 subject to a vacancy and its admissions process. Its 2024 policy says progression for existing pupils from Year 6 to Year 7 is usually automatic. Prospective Year 7 pupils attend a taster day with diagnostic numerical and literacy assessments; these are intended to help the school understand learning and support needs, not a published entrance-exam syllabus. The policy lists no cohort-specific 2027 dates.
Entry stage: Year 7 / 11+
The admissions process
- Contact admissions to arrange a visit; the school requests current-school reports.
- Attend a prospective-pupil taster day. For Year 4 and above, this includes cognitive assessments and an informal interview with a senior staff member.
- For Year 7, the school says numerical and literacy assessments during the taster are diagnostic, intended to identify ability and possible learning support needs. A current-school reference may also be requested.
- For pupils already at Cundall, Year 6 to Year 7 progression is usually automatic; the policy says a place can be withheld if the school believes it cannot meet the pupil’s needs without disadvantaging the cohort.
- Ask admissions about availability and dates; the posted policy does not give a 2027-specific calendar.
