Entry information

Evergreen (URN 142657) is a small specialist residential school in the Roaches School Network, for looked-after pupils aged 7–16 with significant special educational needs. It is not a general Year 7 admissions route. The 2025 Ofsted report says the school does not intend to admit Key Stage 4 pupils. Ask the relevant local authority and Evergreen's contact named on the network website about suitability, availability and placement arrangements.

Entry stage: Specialist residential placement, ages 7–16; Year 7 is within the age range but places are for pupils with significant special educational needs

The admissions process

  • This is a specialist placement rather than a standard 11+ application. The latest Ofsted report says all pupils have SEND and most have EHCPs for social, emotional and mental-health needs.
  • The network's contact page names Liz Edge as the contact for Evergreen. The school site does not publish standard application steps, tests or intake dates.
