Entry information

Ffynone is non-selective and accepts pupils into Year 7 as part of its Reception–Year 13 school. Families arrange a visit or taster, submit the registration form, and the pupil has an interview and informal assessment with a recent school report. The separate Year 7 academic scholarship assessment covers literacy, numeracy and non-verbal reasoning; it is not the ordinary admission route.

The admissions process

  • Contact the school to arrange a visit or taster.
  • Submit the registration form and provide the latest school report.
  • Pupil visit, interview and informal assessment; the school offers a place if successful.
  • Academic scholarship assessment is a separate process and dates are supplied by the school.
