Plan your approach

Entry information

Future First is registered for ages 13–18 and describes a small-school placement for pupils who may need alternative education, including pupils at risk of exclusion or with social, emotional or behavioural needs. Its admissions page asks families/referrers to contact the school and says an appropriate referral form, risk assessment, EHC plan where available and local-authority consultation may be needed. It does not publish a standard Year 7 application or entrance test.

Entry stage: Alternative secondary provision, ages 13–18; referral enquiry

The admissions process

  • Contact the school to discuss a referral.
  • A referral form and risk assessment may be required; provide the EHC plan if available and consult the relevant local authority.
