For September 2027 entry
For September 2027 Year 7 entry, external applicants register by 1 November 2026, sit the school’s one-hour computer-based CEM assessment on 15 November and attend the Interview Day on 8 January 2027. The assessment covers verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, comprehension and non-verbal reasoning; the Interview Day includes activities and an informal interview. Pupils already at Guildford High Junior School do not need to pass an entrance exam to move into Year 7.

- For September 2027, the school lists registration by 1 November 2026, its online assessment on 15 November, and Interview Day on 8 January 2027. A separate application is needed for a music scholarship.
