Entry information

Harmony Christian School describes an all-through Christian education using the ACE curriculum. Its prospectus says families can request an application pack throughout the year and that a parent-and-child interview is required. Diagnostic testing is used to place a child transferring from a different curriculum; no competitive Year 7 exam or current cohort dates are published.

Entry stage: Year 7 / secondary-age entry (school’s curriculum extends through Year 14)

The admissions process

  • Northern Ireland’s Department of Education lists Harmony Christian School as a registered independent school in Ballynahinch.
  • The school describes the ACE curriculum as individualized and says it serves Reception through Year 14.
  • The prospectus says application packs can be requested year-round. A parent interview with the child is mandatory before admission; the school also asks for a birth certificate, signed parent declaration and (for parents not attending the sponsoring church) a pastor reference.
  • For pupils transferring from another curriculum, the prospectus describes diagnostic testing to identify an appropriate starting level and any gaps. This is placement within the ACE curriculum, not a published competitive 11+ test. Contact the Principal for current age/year availability and the application pack.
