The admissions process
- Register for the Kent Test in June of Year 5 and sit it in September of Year 6; the September 2027-entry test has already taken place.
- For Kent residents, submit the common secondary application (SCAF) to Kent County Council by 2 November 2026. Families living elsewhere apply through their home local authority.
- For Pupil Premium priority, return Highworth’s 2027–28 supplementary form and eligibility evidence to the school by 31 October 2026; it does not replace the secondary school application.
- Passing the Kent Test and receiving a grammar assessment is required for Year 7 consideration; places are then allocated under the school’s published criteria, including distance, without a fixed catchment area.
