Entry information
Lancing College’s published 2027 entry is Third Form (Year 9) at age 13. For Year 7, its separate Prep Worthing and Prep Hove schools offer admissions routes: Worthing advertises September 2027 11+ places and assessment days, while Hove welcomes Year 7 applicants. Contact the relevant prep campus rather than treating the College’s 13+ process as Year 7 admission.
Entry stage: Year 7 at linked Prep Worthing/Hove; College from Year 9
The admissions process
- Contact Admissions about a September 2027 Year 9 place; the school says places are limited.
- Scholarship application deadlines and assessment events are listed separately on the school page. Check their dates if applying for a scholarship; they are not Year 7 entry assessments.
- For an 11+ place in the Lancing family, Lancing Prep Worthing advertises Year 7 entry for September 2027, with taster and assessment days in November; Lancing Prep Hove also welcomes Year 7 pupils through its own visit, registration, taster and reference process.
