Year 7 entry

For September 2027 entry

For September 2027 Year 7 entry, Maidstone Grammar School uses the Kent Test taken in September 2026, provided by GL Assessment. Results were sent on 15 October. Kent residents must apply for secondary school by midnight on 2 November 2026; applicants living elsewhere apply through their home local authority. The test covers English, mathematics, verbal and non-verbal reasoning, plus an unmarked writing exercise.
