The admissions process
- The school’s 13+ page says most pupils are assessed in Year 6; a smaller cohort is assessed in Year 7, with some shortlisted applicants assessed in Year 8 if places permit.
- Register through the College admissions portal. The school recommends submitting by the end of Year 5 (or Year 6 for assessment in Year 7); its generic published registration closing dates are 9 October of Year 6 or Year 7 respectively.
- The ISEB Pre-Tests are taken at the child’s current school between September and December of Year 6 (or Year 7). The College requests a current-school reference in the Michaelmas Term.
- The College assessment day is in January of Year 6 or February of Year 7 and includes a short writing task, interactive group activities and an interview. Offers are made toward the end of the Lent Term.
- The College lists 13+ entry open days for 2029, 2030 and 2031 on 24 April and 12 June 2027; families can arrange another visit through Admissions.
