Entry information
Norwich Steiner School’s class chart maps Linden Class 6 (ages 11–12) to mainstream Year 7. The July 2026 admissions procedure offers an introductory visit, a free one-day taster and a two-week class trial, with previous-school reports gathered during the process. It is not a standard 11+ exam route; ask the school about class availability and its current waiting list.
Entry stage: Linden Class 6 (mainstream Year 7 equivalent; ages 11–12)
The admissions process
- The school’s class chart maps Linden Class 6, ages 11–12, to mainstream Year 7. Classes combine pupils across a two-year age range.
- The current admissions procedure invites families to make contact and visit; the school usually meets the child, offers a free one-day taster and then a free two-week trial in the class they would join. In some circumstances, the school may agree a one-week trial.
- During the trial the school requests relevant previous-school or specialist reports and speaks with the child’s previous school. A completed application form and reports are required before a provisional offer is confirmed.
