The admissions process
- Most girls join Senior School in Year 7 at age 11. The school offers a Year 6 experience day in October before entry and holds the entrance examination in November of the year before entry.
- For September 2027 entry the school lists Saturday 21 November 2026. Year 7 candidates sit a one-hour Mathematics paper and a one-hour English paper (comprehension and a piece of writing); the morning also includes activities that form part of the assessment.
- The school says the English and Mathematics papers assess potential rather than knowledge, so it does not expect extensive revision. It does not describe a Year 7 Head interview on the published examination page.
- Register online; the school says sample papers and examination details are sent through the parent admissions account after registration. Contact Admissions about special requirements and extra time.
