Entry information
The Hive’s campus page describes a Key Stage 3 reintegration programme for ages 11–14, while the linked admissions policy is for 2025–26. Its registered age range extends to 16; ask the campus which ages and referral steps it currently offers.

The admissions process
- Discuss a referral with your child’s current school or the local authority’s education inclusion team. Families can contact the campus and arrange a visit before a placement decision.
- The referring organisation supplies a referral pack and risk assessment, educational history, attendance and attainment information, and any relevant SEND or EHCP documents.
- The school considers whether it can meet the child’s needs. If a placement is agreed, the school and referring organisation arrange the start date, timetable, consent forms and induction.
- Local-authority SEND referrals follow a separate document review and family meeting process. Ask the referring team which arrangements apply to your child.
- Contact 0151 559 1867 (Progress Schools central team) or info@progress-schools.co.uk to discuss current availability and the correct referral route.
