Entry information

Prudentia’s published route starts at age 12. Referrals come from schools, local authorities, virtual schools and support agencies. A visit includes support-needs screening, online English and maths assessments and planning with the child before a start date is agreed.

What the assessment covers

  • English
  • Mathematics

The admissions process

  • If your child currently attends school, ask the headteacher or education provider about making a referral. Families can first enquire directly to understand the support available.
  • If your child has been permanently excluded, contact the local authority’s children’s commissioning team to discuss the referral and fair-access arrangements. A referral does not guarantee a place.
  • The referring organisation requests or submits the relevant referral form. Prepare any EHCP, support plans, school reports and other documents relevant to your child’s needs.
  • The child visits to meet staff and complete support-needs screening, online English and maths assessments, an individual learning plan and induction activities before the start date is agreed.
  • Contact 0151 427 8111 or christian@prudentiaeducation.co.uk to discuss the route and confirm which site your child would attend.
