Assessment
Lincolnshire Consortium of Grammar Schools

What the assessment covers

  • Verbal reasoning
  • Non verbal reasoning
  • Spatial awareness

Caistor Grammar School uses its own entrance test and is outside this route.

The consortium’s general registration table says 31 March 2026, but Bourne Grammar published a 30 June 2026 school deadline and King’s Grantham reopened late registration; follow the chosen school’s instructions.

Only verbal reasoning and non-verbal/spatial reasoning are tested; ignore the English and maths downloads on the general GL free-materials page for this route.

Confirm registration and late-testing arrangements with the chosen school; the general consortium date is not universal.

Before you apply

  • Test registration and the home-local-authority school-place application are separate steps.
