Year 8 entry

For September 2027 entry

Regent House’s latest full school criteria found are for September 2026; they use SEAG scores first and consider other applicants if places remain. The school calendar lists SEAG test dates in November 2026, but September 2027 criteria are not yet published. For the 2027 transfer cycle, SEAG registration, including the emergency window, has closed; the Education Authority transfer application is separate.

Assessment
Northern Ireland SEAG

What the assessment covers

  • English or gaeilge
  • Mathematics

SEAG includes fully and partially selective member schools; this page links only to schools present in the Plusling Index.

Two Dickson Plan senior high schools in the index take pupils at 14+ and are not SEAG Year 8 members.

SEAG membership does not mean every applicant must take the assessment. Check the school’s selective and all-ability routes before choosing preparation or applying.
