Entry information

The listed Sedbergh School Senior campus is for older pupils; the 11+ Year 7 route is through the separate Sedbergh Prep campus at Casterton. Prep applications are accepted year-round subject to places. Families visit, register and provide the latest school report; the child may have a taster day or overnight stay. Year 7 applicants may be asked to take online English and Maths tests to help with setting. The Prep’s published transition arrangements say Senior School house selection in Year 6 or Year 7 guarantees a Year 9 place.
