Entry information

Tennis Avenue School is a specialist tennis academy with an integrated classroom. Admission is based on an Immersion Day that can extend to a full trial and an assessment of tennis potential, coachability and family fit. For Years 6–7, the school expects applicants to compete at LTA Grade 3 or national level; it does not publish a conventional 11+ entrance exam.

Entry stage: Specialist tennis-school admission (Year 6/7 applicants)

The admissions process

  • Book an Immersion Day for the child to experience training and classroom lessons
  • If the day goes well, the school may extend the visit to a full trial before deciding whether to offer a place
  • For Year 6 and Year 7 entry, applicants must already compete at LTA Grade 3 or national level
