Entry information
High School of Dundee welcomes Senior Years applications for August entry or, where spaces are available, during the school year. Families apply online, provide the latest school report and pay a £100 plus VAT registration fee. The school then arranges an age- and stage-appropriate assessment visit. For August 2027 financial-support applicants specifically, the form is due by 31 October 2026 and assessment visits run from late October to mid-November. Contact Junior and Senior Years Admissions to arrange a visit and confirm assessment content; the school has not published a subject list on these pages.
Entry stage: S1
The admissions process
- Apply through the online Junior and Senior Years form, attach the child’s latest school report, and pay the stated £100 plus VAT registration fee.
- For financial support toward August 2027 entry, submit the online form by 31 October 2026. The school arranges bursary assessment visits from the last week of October to mid-November; this deadline is specific to financial support.
- For ordinary Senior Years admission, Admissions arranges an age- and stage-appropriate assessment visit after receiving the application; the school also welcomes in-year entrants where places exist.
