Plan your approach

Entry information

Year 7 is a standard entry point. The school says applicants do not have to take an entrance exam. Its admissions process includes a family meeting and tour, references and two taster days, with additional days or baseline assessments where needed to understand the child’s needs.

Entry stage: Year 7

The admissions process

  • Complete the online admissions enquiry and speak to the Admissions Team about places, your child’s needs and the intended start date.
  • Provide the requested documents, including the latest school report, and meet the Headteacher and, where appropriate, the SENDCo during a school tour.
  • If invited to apply, return the application form and fee. The school requests current-school, character and normally church references.
  • Arrange two taster days. The school may request additional days or baseline assessments to decide whether it can meet your child’s needs.
  • If a place is offered, complete the admissions pack and required payments, then agree the start date. The website asks families to allow at least four weeks for the process.
