Plan your approach

Entry information

The school is not academically selective and says children do not need to pass an entrance exam. September applications should be submitted by 15 January of the intended year of entry. Visits, taster days, reports and a family interview form part of the process; late applications depend on places remaining.

Entry stage: Year 7

The admissions process

  • Contact registrar@tkswitney.org.uk or 01993 778463 to arrange a visit and discuss Year 7 places.
  • Return the application and registration fee by 15 January before the intended September start. Ask the Registrar about late or mid-year availability if that date has passed.
  • Provide requested school reports, references and support information. A church reference may be requested where applicable, but the policy says church attendance is not mandatory.
  • Arrange one or two taster days. The school may request standardised assessments or additional information to understand whether it can meet a child’s needs; these are not a pass-to-enter exam.
  • Secondary-age children join their parents for the admissions interview. Discuss the school’s Christian ethos, your child’s wishes and practical support needs.
  • If offered a place, complete the joining documents, partnership agreement and deposit, and confirm the start and transition arrangements.
