The admissions process

  • Contact registrar@ksw.org.uk or 01905 721742 to arrange a visit, discuss availability and register through the school’s admissions portal.
  • The published Year 7 scholarship and bursary application deadline was 22 October 2026. Contact Admissions directly about any late request; do not assume a late application will be accepted.
  • Confirm which assessment morning your child should attend: 14 or 21 November 2026. The morning combines the online assessment with an activity.
  • Quest specifies English for 30 minutes, verbal reasoning for 10 minutes, mathematics for 20 minutes and non-verbal reasoning for 10 minutes. Questions are largely multiple choice; the three non-English sections adapt in difficulty.
  • The current school supplies a reference. Some applicants may have a general interview; academic scholarship interviews are separate and by invitation.
  • Read the offer conditions carefully. The 2027–28 admissions information gives 1 March 2027 as the acceptance-form deadline.
